Burna Boy’s success to date has seen him effortlessly transcend the world of African music securing multiple notable award nominations in addition to attaining wins from the BET Awards, MOBO-Awards, and the MTV EMA’s. On his latest cross-continental collaboration, he circles back to England, where he joins North Londoner, Headie One, on Siberia, a notable offering from the just-released deluxe version of the Drill rapper’s debut album, Edna.

Produced by The Elements and AOD, the melodic and guitar-laden track is a stripped-back affair with sturdy 808 drum patterns, lyrically reflecting on Headie’s personal metamorphosis as he comes to terms with the new expectations fame has brought to his life.

The accompanying video was directed by KC Locke who previously helmed Headie’s video for Parlez Vous Anglais with Aitch. Headie’s scenes, set against an arctic, icy, and all-white backdrop in Scotland are juxtaposed with Burna Boy’s comparatively warmer and more humid domain in Nigeria.
