Ice Prince locks into the Peruzzi effect this month, one which transcends a feature but pours into the former’s usual straight-to-the-point style of delivery, yielding a more slow style which finds the Rapper crooning with the DMW star with a comeback track titled; Yawa.
Celebrating a revolution maybe, the mid tempo track comes month after his last release and the change in style has us on the edge of our seats. Despite the twist, Yawa; built on a soundscape of whistling synths and galvanic drums is the balm for an anxious heart. The assist from Peruzzi gives the already emotion stirring track a tremendously warming feel and quite frankly despite Ice Prince’s unusual lax style of delivery, its not far fetched as the song’s background is reminiscent of some old projects including; Marry Me.
If this is an indication of the exploration of a new genre, then we’re definitely ready to experience another side of the Northsider.
