After writing critically acclaimed hits like Up North, The Arbitration, and The Set Up, Chinaza Onuzo is moving into the director seat with Who’s The Boss, a romance film set for release in February 2020.
An excited Onuzo announced the film with a short teaser on his Instagram page. “I always like to say no film is special,” he writes. “they are like our children, and we love each one equally. However, this one is a little bit special because it happens to be my directorial debut.”
Who’s The Boss follows Liah, an overworked Ad Agency executive who invents a boss for her startup ad agency to keep it secret from her employer. However, things get worse as her agency gets significantly more successful, and she has to devise more ways to hide it from her boss.
The film’s star-studded cast features Funke Akindele, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Segun Arinze, Sharon Ooja, Beverly Osu, Bolly Lomo, Ini Dima-Okojie, and Tayo Faniran. Watch the teaser below.
