Integrity, interest of Nigeria will determine those in my next cabinet – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has listed integrity and interest of Nigeria as criteria that will determine those that will be part of his next cabinet.

Buhari said this at a dinner the All Progressives Congress (APC) women and youth organised to celebrate his re-election, on over the weekend.

He also promised to include more women and youth during his second tenure, acknowledging the “significant role” they played toward his re-election.

He vowed that his administration would not betray their trust in him.

The President also revealed that more fertilizers were being made available to Nigerian farmers at a lower rate, which according him, has resulted in an increase in agricultural production and reduction in food importation.

He also urged the youth to embrace agriculture to ensure more food sufficiency and food export.

He as well blamed the 16-year rule of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the mess he inherited in governance as he said the PDP “wasted the nation’s resources”.

According to him, the country witnessed “rampant infrastructure decay” in spite of the huge resources earned during the period.
