1. The new face of Tom Ford, Betty Adewole, is a 21 year old from Hackney, London

2. She will be replacing Polish model Zuzanna Bijoch

3. Betty was discovered by a fashion scout from Model 1 while shopping on Tottenham Court Road with her mother

4. She can rap!

5. She has walked the runway in fashion shows for all the big names from Vivienne Westwood to Paul Smith, Maison Martin Margiela, Alexander McQueen, Tom Ford, Stella McCartney and Givenchy

6. Her style icons are Vivienne Westwood and Alaïa. She thinks Angelina Jolie is the most beautiful woman in the world

7. Betty has refused to let the fashion industry brand her as “the new Naomi Campbell” and insists that though Naomi is an amazing model, she is Betty Adewole.

8. The critical moment of her career came after signing to IMG models last year.  She cut her hair to give herself a different look that is definitely making designers take notice

9. She has already had her debut editorial in British Vogue for the February 2014 issue
