IP Lawyer & Creative Entrepreneur Bejay Fadipe Launches Record Label: Xpress Records

Intellectual Property Lawyer and creative entrepreneur, Bukola Oladiran Fadipe Jnr.(alias Bejay Fadipe) has announced the launch of a new record company; XPress Records. An alum of the Afe Babalola University (ABUAD), Fadipe hails from a lineage of entrepreneurs from Osun State citing a primordial eye for trade, innovation, creativity and a strong passion for intellectual property which he has pursued most of his life.

Fadipe currently manages talents; Yung Willis, XTreme, Topnotch Toby & Decominati, and influencer Caramel Plugg, and is a part of Timaya’s management Team. He is also the co-founder of Creele Animation Studios along with Nissi Ogulu. Over the last decade, Fadipe has gained experience in the Nigerian music industry where he worked on Falz’ first project, building a studio for creatives whilst still a student.

He would go on to work at publicist, Buki HQ where he handled accounts including Burna Boy, Naomi Campbell, Linda Osifo, Tems,  Chocolate City (CKay & BlaqBonez), Spaceship Collective (Nissi, BNXN, Bose Ogulu), Sarkodie, M.anifest, Ycee & Mavin Records (Johnny Drille), Trace TV amongst many others. He also worked with top producer brands like Sarz, and Rocket Boyz (Leriq & Telz) and was also the lead publicist on Burna Boy’s Grammy Award Winning album Twice As Tall.

Speaking on the objectives for the label, Fadipe says

“Firstly, to create a platform for creatives to cultivate, Xtract, and Xpress their creative talents in unique ways that promote a global cultural renaissance. Secondly, to drive the development and cultivation of Valuable Intellectual Property (VIP) while also promoting equity in the fast-growing Nigerian/African entertainment industry where inequity thrives currently.”

Speaking further on what to expect from the company, Fadipe notes that the World should expect a grand showcase of unorthodox creativity rooted in humanity’s illustrious culture and history. He states further that the first release from the label will be launched later this month adding that the World should “Xpect the UnXpected with X Records!!”
