Despite being the center of a tumultuous year, Iyanya managed to keep his head in the game in 2019 by way of worthy comeback singles that withdrew the spotlight from his controversies. Although he was unable to seal the deal with a project as promised, the quality of the singles such as Fever and No Drama was impressive enough to keep him relevant. This year, however, he put the right foot in with a 4-track EP that really didn’t have any impact on his current status, however, he attempts to rise above this limitation this month with the video for the previously released Fever.
The love story he tells in the Afropop single is visualized on a beach where he relives his sensual and occasional whimsical feelings with his muse. While the video is rife with habitual romance-themed scenes, it does Iyanya’s credibility a world of good as it indicates he still possesses star features.
