During Easter, Jameson brought together a mosaic of people from different groups and communities for a two-day Open House at Jameson Yard in Lekki.

The Open House brought together interactive experiences like the Cocktail Face-Off, where guests created their own Jameson cocktails, alongside Bants Sessions and other activities that encouraged easy camaraderie. A music-heavy atmosphere, led by DJ sets from WeAreAllChemicals of the Jameson Family, tied it all together.
The Open House owes much of its success to the Jameson Yard. The Jameson Yard is an interactive location designed as an adaptive cultural space where guests can socialise, engage in different activities and explore a range of interests with ease.

One of the activities guests participated in was a podcast session with Prodigy and MIA, which allowed room for a bunch of conversation across different immersive subjects like music, fashion, and culture. There was also a Tattoo Room and a Games Area, and a Garden, for social interactions.
Another interesting layer was the Jameson Black Barrel area, where customers could explore so much about whiskey, including its crafting process and its composition.

Speaking about her experience, Kita Mgbeje, Jameson Brand Ambassador (culture & advocacy), said that one of Jameson’s goals is to ensure the connectivity of people. Jameson achieves this by “creating environments in which those connections can occur spontaneously. The Yard allows visitors to come in, explore, and make the experience their own.”
The Open House event is a testament to how an adaptive location like the Jameson Yard can hold people together and inspire them to bring out their passion, creativity and connectivity through wholesome activities.
