Jbwai Is Full Of Cheer And Confidence On Ko-C Assisted ‘Busy Body Remix’

Toronto-based Cameroonian artist, Jbwai who has been walking the path to music greatness, seeks to use his influence to breach the gap between home-based artists and those in the diaspora. It is common knowledge in the Cameroonian music industry that artists based out of the country are not given the same level of recognition, as those back home which is why last year, he visited the country with the intent to make a mark. Through singles like Busy Body, which just got treated to a remix and partnerships with the likes of fellow Cameroonian, Gasha, and Nigerian vocal powerhouse, Waje, he made a difference, now on the remix of Busy Body, he digs in further to establish an imprint.

Much like the original version, the remix still finds Jbwai charged with relatable notions that he articulates passively. Ko-C cushions Jbwai’s energetic chorus with a lulling verse that complements Jbwai’s partly Rastafarian inflections and gives listeners another perspective.
