Jimi Jang’s Adds a Melodic Fuji Twist As He Covers Burna Boy’s ‘Ye’

Jimi Jang’s ‘Ye Riddim’ is his manifesto to contend for King of the Streets. Ye Riddim is his cover of Burna Boy’s Ye. Although he retains the alternative keys and rhythmic drums that serve as a background tune to his tale and speaks of the same troubles Burna Boy does (he keeps the famous “I no wan die” line), he loses the instrumentals for the entire chorus and adds a melodic Fuji twist to his cover.
