Afrobeats singer and emPawa Africa signee Joeboy has bounced back with a sophomore album Body & Soul two years after he marked his territory in Afrobeats with debut project Somewhere Between Beauty & Magic.
The latest project includes already trending songs, which include the title track Body & Soul, as well as Duffel Bag and Contour.
On Thursday, a day to the album release, Joeboy, full of optimism, said on Twitter: “Once this album becomes an instant success, I will willingly forgive all of you who doubted me or claimed I had lost my touch”
Released Friday May 19, 2023 Body & Soul features BNXN, ODUMODUBLVCK, Oli Ekun, CKay, Oxlade, Ludacris, Tempoe and Kemena. As part of the promotion for the album, Joeboy has also announced a Body & Soul tour in the United Kingdom, his first UK headline tour set to begin June 17th to end June 25th.
