John NetworQ takes us through the Struggles of an Emerging Artiste on ‘Hear Word’

US-based Nigerian rap artiste, NetworQ has put out new music after a brief silence. On the track titled Hear Word, the singer who now releases music under his independent imprint, Son of Merlin (SOM), teams up with the hottest South-South born rapper Kaptain, and singer Brenny Jones to create a self inspiring tune.

“I get back up for my backup plan”, John NetworQ declares as he dishes out witty lyrics on the WonderBeats produced track.

Then Kaptain enters with a passionate appeal to the Almighty. . . “When you go come to my house with things wey I Dey pray for… ?” as he seeks divine blessings similar to that of megastars like Wizkid, Davido, and Burna boy.

The song references the different struggles of rising artists to make it to the top, an experience that is relatable to a lot of emerging artistes, as Brenny Jones takes us through the hook.

The track seems to be a tease to his upcoming debut studio album which he has been cooking up in the studio for a while now and is expected to drop in early 2022.
