Belfast artist of Nigerian descent, Jordan Adetunji, has released the video for his single, Go. Directed by Tyrus Hill, the visuals basically shows the artist himself indulging in a joyride in the company of a female partner. The track is produced by J Rick as it rides smoothly over a math-rock style guitar and hyperpop beats, which define Jordan’s unique sounds.

An artist bent on breaking boundaries, Jordan Adetunji is credited with experimental songs such as the hyperpop/jersey club infused You & I, WOKEUP and Insecure (Love Yourself). His influences include  rap, R&B, post-punk, jersey club and hyperpop, all of which have made him a desirable music brand. Artists that have inspired him are The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, Jaden Smith, XXXTENTACION, Joy Division and Bring Me The Horizon.

Jordan has explained the message of the Go as one which focuses on overcoming the odds and surpassing the expectations of people. For him, it is a self-inspiring hit, as he intends to take doubters by surprise through the production of electric, energy-driven music.

“I created this song with producers J Rick & Villa where there was electric excitement in the studio when making this with a math rock sample from Rjpasin,” he says.
