Kayode Joules Oguntayo, known by the stage name JoulesDaKid or JDK for short, is back to musical business with a new track titled I Don’t Like (That S***) in which he infuses a unique feel that is stylistically reminiscent of his earlier works such as Aunty Dupe and Sumo Na Ft Ajebutter22.

On the song, JoulesDaKid is full of vigor and vibes, as his smooth and hip-hop vocal delivery glides beautifully with the Chilz-produced Amapiano sounds. Lyrically, the artist shows his dictate for some things, as the song culminates in a refreshing, direction-driven experience that signals the versatility of the artist.

JDK has an interesting precedence in the Nigerian music scene, his career is traceable to at least 2016 when he dropped the album Homecoming, featuring Ajebutter22 and U.A.X on the project. In 2017, he released the single RRS with both Ajebutter22 and ComedianEbiye getting featured on the track. He then followed up with his 2019 sophomore album Jdk’19 on which he opened up to more collaborations, with BlaqBonez, L.A.X,  Sinzu, PrettyBoyDO, Flowssick and Bella Alubo jumping on different tracks therein. Other releases of JDK are singles like Mo Rock, Rough Play, Badda and Problem Child, all of which were released between 2020 and 2022.
