In about a month, L.A.X’s single run will come to a crescendo, on his twelve-track sophomore album titled ZaZa Vibes. This week, he green lights the project with yet another single titled Go Low, one that’s complete with the makings of a party starter and reminds us of the L.A.X that pushed out singles like Caro and Ginger.
Delivered on shaky percussions built for dance floors, L.A.X’s tale of a woman whose zest for life is his muse draws on the fast-rising elements of South Africa’s Amapiano sound, a budding go-to, and his signature Afropop sound to land at a perfect fusion that not only speaks to the quality of music that will be delivered on the upcoming project but L.A.X’s evolution.
