The moments before and after the release of Lady Donli’s Ca$h marked a pivotal period in her career and topped our list of raving moments in the music industry this year.
More important is the promotion of the single itself and the message in it which is why Davido agreeing to a feature on the track’s remix comes as no surprise.
On the EDM-influenced remix produced by Lady Donli’s live band, The Cavemen, Davido is her opposition as he breezes into the springy single with lines that allude to his aversion to money but a preference for love.
Lady Donli maintains her stance as a cash lover but despite their opposing perspectives, the duo are perfect as a tag team and ride the EDM, pop and jazzy rhythms that make up the instrumentals to oblivion.
