Lagos is having its moment again. This time, it’s Grammy-winner Black Coffee headlining on Saturday, April 5, 2026, brought to you by M:E Entertainment and DAPO.
The king of afro house—born Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo in Durban—who’s lit up stages from Ibiza’s DC-10 to New York’s Avant Gardner, is touching down for one night only. South Africa’s sound meets Lagos’s fire. It’s a pan-African takeover.
Why This Matters for Lagos
Everyone knows Lagos rules Afrobeats. But underground? Our clubs, warehouses, and late-night spots have been brewing a killer house scene. M:E Entertainment didn’t invent it—they amplified it.
Remember last year’s Rampa Lagos? Surprise sets from Burna Boy and Olamide, alongside the global star Rampa. It shattered expectations and proved Lagos is electronic music’s next frontier.
Now, they’re leveling up. “When we did Rampa, the energy was unreal—the hunger, the electricity. April 5 will be the night they point to when Lagos goes global,” says M:E Entertainment.
DAPO adds: “We want Lagos talked about like Fabric or DC-10. This is the milestone.”
