Nollywood and the music industry have made great strides this especially with pioneer projects that have turned the industry around. Top of this list of feats is the integration of the music and movie industry, a profitable and positive move that has yielded several OSTs powerful enough to go head to head with regular tracks on charts and as the subject of relevant conversations. Last month, Chidinma Ekile and Imoh Udoh shared an OST from the latter’s sophomore effort, The Herbert Macaulay Affair and before that we witnessed Larry Gaaga and Flavour on Tene, the first single off the OST for the sequel of classic Nollywood movie, Living in Bondage: Breaking Free. Days before the movie’s premiere, Larry Gaaga and his wealth of features give us a look into the movie with the release of the full-length album.

The first track, Work, is a Davido led track that takes on the movie’s power and hustle theme. It gives way to a litany of tracks driven by A-listers in the industry. Each song takes a different route that is expected to blend with key points of the movie itself. Living in Bondage: Breaking Free is one of the industry’s first attempts at OSTs and we hope it lives up to expectation.
