Libianca Shows Reverence To God In Her New Single “Jah”

Cameroonian singer Libianca has been in the spotlight since her hit single People dominated the charts and social media earlier in 2023. The single debuted at No. 2 on the US Billboard Afrobeats chart and No. 2 on the UK Singles chart. After its initial success, the track was reproduced in many forms including a remix with Nigerian artists Ayra Starr and Omah Lay which peaked at No. 7 on Turntable charts. Since then, Libianca has been featured on JAE5’s latest release I Wish, and now, the artist has returned with a new single titled Jah

The word Jah has multiple definitions but in all its iterations, it refers to God. In her new song, Libianca shows her reverence to God, and the strength she gains from him. “I have all that I need in my Jah….If not for Jah I for don die” is a popular sentiment many believers can relate to, but none have sung it as catchy as Libianca has. The track is a heartfelt acknowledgement of the spiritual force that drives her success.

Libianca’s message is also clear from her cover art which spots a cross hovering over an imitation of the popular Michelangelo painting “The creation of Adam ” where two hands, one a representation of man and the other God is shown reaching for each other.
