Life of Dillon’s New EP, MIA Should Be On Your Playlists

London based duo, Life of Dillon came together in 2014 and has continued to show growth. Comprising of Joe Femi and David Keiffer, the duo is today signed under Epic Records, a subsidiary of Sony Music. Recently, the duo has put out a new four track EP tagged MIA.

Opening with a title track MIA, we see Femi’s Brazilian-Nigerian background reveal itself as infuses Yoruba into the Caribbean infused record. The track sets the tone for the rest of the project as the duo articulate their readiness to be A1, if the energy they’re getting is reciprocated.

The tone doesn’t roll too far from love and its environs on pop effort American Girl as they touch on potential visa struggles and potentially wedding an American perhaps in hopes of earning citizenship.

Speaking on the EP, David Keiffer claims that their music comes from real life experiences and argues it will stay so.

Give MIA a listen.
