Maleek Berry’s ‘Isolation Room’ Reflects Revolving Fleet Of Emotions

Maleek Berry’s ability to create a sonic ambiance from his revolving experiences is almost as impressive as the songs that come out of these sessions. In the past, we’ve been privy to projects like Berry’s Room, now this year as he hops on the bandwagon of lockdown inspired artists, he shares Isolation Room, a seven-track long introspective session powered by his signature bass-driven RnB Pop sound.

Driven by love, the revolving theme of the project, Isolation Room begins with a bouncy outpour of emotions on Far Away, a sweet petition to lock in a relationship he hopes will remain permanent. Unlike previous projects that feature a more streamlined flow from start to finish, Isolation Room reveals the Maleek with a growing penchant for diversity evidenced on the tone switch on Free Your Mind, a neo highlife inspired cut that dances to the tune of his desire for a better life.

Contrary to the monotonous motif of the project, Maleek opts for one feature, a deviation from the solitary nature of his last release, First Daze Of Winter, and an indication of the strength of his roots.

Unlike the run of the mil lockdown inspired offerings we’ve been getting, Maleek Berry’s Isolation Room contains the much-needed flavor that represents the fleet of emotions felt by a variety of people this season and is typical of the multidimensional artist.
