In the past, we’ve been privy to projects like Berry’s Room, now this year as he hops on the bandwagon of lockdown inspired artists, he shares Isolation Room, a seven-track long introspective session powered by his signature bass-driven RnB Pop sound.
Driven by love, the revolving theme of the project, Isolation Room begins with a bouncy outpour of emotions on Far Away, a sweet petition to lock in a relationship he hopes will remain permanent. Unlike previous projects that feature a more streamlined flow from start to finish, Isolation Room reveals the Maleek with a growing penchant for diversity evidenced on the tone switch on Free Your Mind, a neo highlife inspired cut that dances to the tune of his desire for a better life.
Contrary to the monotonous motif of the project, Maleek opts for one feature, a deviation from the solitary nature of his last release, First Daze Of Winter, and an indication of the strength of his roots.
