Meet Mayne Cross, a singer, performing artist and songwriter who launched his music career in 2016 with a couple of singles. Born Caleb Oboose Oyakhilome, the Edo state native went on to release his first breakout single titled Dangerous in 2021.
He returns this year with his latest offering; a compilation of three heartfelt songs named Mayne Tape. In this project, Cross diversifies into different genre swings talking about, love and his journey on his signature Afro dance-soul sound. This body of work was produced by top noticed producers like Eframesounds, Oxygen Mix and Ozedikus.
The EP opens with Worry Person, which is already getting traction with hilarious memes online and ends with Micasa where Cross sheds light on his love life and promises to stick to the one person if she’s ready to go on that journey with him.
