Since the release of his debut album, The Mayor Of Lagos, Mayorkun has paced himself with releasing content from his collection. Earlier in the year, few weeks after the release of the well received Up To Something, he shared studio session snippets which helped arouse his fans. With no time to waste, the entertainer shared the full-length track titled Geng last weekend.
The Quebeat produced single which finds Mayorkun experimenting with dubstep inspired Hip-hop instrumentals references gang lifestyle. Rife with quotable street slang that are already ingrained in Lagos street life, Geng is edgy, catchy and above all sends a message of solidarity, something Mayorkun knows a thing or two about considering his tight-knit relationship with his DMW gang.
