Organizers of the groundbreaking cinematic event, Movie In the Park Experience, on Friday, January 26, announced that it’ll be launching another event tagged Music, Booze and Groove (MBG).
This new experience is aimed at giving attendees the thrill of live music, drinks, and the groove of exceptional nightlife in Lagos, MBG will hold the last Fridays of selected months with different live bands on hand to entertain the audience.
Event curator, Ihechi Opara who was recently recognized as one of the Most Interesting People in the Culture, expressed that ‘
We are very particular about the culture and if we are going to do something that has to do with music, it had to be something different, unconventional yet traditional. It had to be unique in its own right.
The first edition of MBG is scheduled to hold on February 23, 2024. The event which has been tagged a free event by the team is organized in partnership with Budweiser, Trophy Extra Stout, Flying Fish, Trace Naija, Culture Custodian, WeTalkSound, and Pulse. Potential attendants can register here.
