Mohbad Resurfaces With Sophomore Extended Project “Blessed”

Talented Afrobeats singer/rapper Mohbad has regained the hearts of fans with a sophomore project, Blessed, hitting the ground for another important point in his career. As a successor to his 2020 debut project Light, the newly released EP is a testament to the Mohbad’s artistic revelation

Mohbad’s rise to stardom came through his single KPK in which he collaborated with critically acclaimed music producer and former record label mate, Rexxie. His artistic style has witnessed wide acceptance from Afrobeats lovers, most of whom consider him one of the torchbearers of modern street-pop music. 

With his return in Blessed EP, Mohbad defines his territory with an identity reflective of his signature soulful vocals. Throughout the EP, there is an intentional synergy of melodies such that it portarys the artist as a expert in the production of street pop. His baritone voice is both enticing and assertive enough to give listeners a relatable yet trance-like experience.

Blessed EP contains 7 tracks, which are Beast & Peace, Sabi, Account Balance, Omo Mi, Blessing, La Pio Pio, Ask About Me and PARIWO. With collaborations from Bella Shmurda and Zanku boss Zlatan, the EP gains more depth. Listen to it;
