To herald his upcoming debut album as a solo artist, Mr P of the defunct group, P-Square joins forces with fellow Afropop stalwart and vocal powerhouse, Wande Coal on Follow My Lead, a metaphor fest that finds the duo tooting their horns and reiterating why they are often referred to as pioneers in the industry masking their pride as romance inspired monologue.
Produced by Sarmy Fire, the upbeat single is a sound concoction that leverages the vibrancy of strings and energy behind percussions, giving Mr P and Wande Coal the perfect platform to trade slick verses. Follow My Lead will feature on The Prodigal, Mr P’s anticipated upcoming debut album, slated for an early February 2021 release. The album includes a string of star-studded collaborations, with Teni, Simi, Tamar Braxton, Tiwa Savage, DJ Switch, Singah, Mohombi, and Oviekelz.
