Wizkid is international. It’s obvious, he’s part of an elite group of African artistes and Drake featuring him on One Dance, a single off Views From the 6 is evidence of his transcendence.
Many have reacted differently to the song, some disappointed that Wizkid has gone international to be doing “background vocals” and fearful that the artiste may be going down the same path as D’Banj.
The more important thing however, is the fact that Wizkid was sought to execute an idea that one of the biggest stars in the world had. It goes to show just how far the artiste has gone from hustling in Ojuelegba to featuring on Drake’s songs.
