Nigerian-Jamaican photographer, Nadine Ijewere whose work depicts diversity and recognizes all kinds of beauty focuses her camera lens on pop icon Rihanna for Allure Magazine’s Best Of Beauty Issue.
Nadine’s portfolio spans across several big names in the fashion industry including doing an editorial for Stella Mcartney for the second installment of #StellaBy, where the fashion house collaborated with creative talents all over the world and now one of the biggest fashion and beauty icons on the planet, Rihanna
For a little over a year, we’ve witnessed Rihanna take the beauty industry by storm with the game-changing Fenty Beauty and its rallying cry for inclusivity in beauty was heard around the world.
The brand’s expansive (and successful) foundation-shade range not only set a new standard for cosmetics companies but also brought women of color to the forefront of the beauty conversation, making thousands of consumers feel heard and seen.
Although this issue doesn’t feature an interview with the “Diamonds” singer, it rather focuses on Riri’s beauty looks as captured by the brilliant Nadine Ijewere.
Check out some of the enthralling looks

Our annual #AllureBestofBeauty issue honors the year of #Fenty and stars the iconic Rihanna. The uncomfortable truth is that before @fentybeauty, few makeup brands paid adequate attention to making foundations for dark skin. #Rihanna changed all of that and we are so here for it.
