Nasty C and Runtown Reconnect on Coke Studio Africa's Said

Coke Studio across the world has drawn artists from different cultures and given them the tools to create art together. In 2016, the most notable records we got from the African sessions were from Tanzanian Vanessa Mdee and Nigerian Patoranking however, the results we’ve already gotten from Nasty C and Runtown are of considerably higher standing than any of the music we were gifted last year.

First off, we received a remake to Mad Over You that was good enough but a little too late considering the fact that the record was already rinsed out by the time we received it. The second offering we receive from the duo however is a track tagged Said. On the track, the two artists speak on being considered underdogs and building legacies despite proclamations that they couldn’t. Some may even argue the record is responsible for 2 Baba’s recent public admiration for Nasty C.
