A decade after its groundbreaking debut, Before 30 (also known as B430) is officially back and now streaming on Amazon Prime Video. First released in 2015, the critically acclaimed Nigerian drama series written and directed by Bodunrin ‘BB’ Sasore explores the modern African woman’s experience, spotlighting themes of identity, independence, and the cultural pressures of marriage.
Set in Lagos, the series follows the lives of four dynamic, urban career women portrayed by Damilola Adegbite, Beverly Naya, Meg Otanwa, and Anee Icha, as they navigate the demands of society, family, and their own ambitions in a world where marriage before 30 is often viewed as a life goal rather than a personal choice. With eight episodes of bold storytelling, Before 30 earned praise for its honest portrayal of friendship, womanhood, and evolving traditions in Nigerian society. The cast also includes award-winning actor OC Ukeje, Tina Mba, and Gideon Okeke, who played key roles in the movie.
Produced by Omorinsojo Spaine and executive produced by Derin Adeyokunnu for Nemsia Studios, the show’s return marks a milestone in Nigerian television, offering new audiences the chance to rediscover its relevance and emotional impact. After captivating audiences with the action-drama of its previous release, Suky, which peaked at the number one spot in Nigeria on Prime Video, Before 30 is now available for global streaming on Prime Video. This series continues to uphold its legacy as a powerful and culturally significant show that has sparked, and continues to spark, essential conversations.
