Seun Adigun, Ngozi Onwumere and Akuoma Omeoga are names we will be hearing more about in the near future, as this powerful Nigerian trio, only last month, qualified for and will be representing Nigeria (as our first women’s bobsled team) at the Winter Olympics.
Pioneering this impending clamour was a recent visit to the comedic Ellen Degeneres show to talk about their recent victory and newly acclaimed status. The national bobsled team showed their Nigerian heritage and why you really cannot take a Nigerian anywhere – a factor we are unapologetically proud of – as the ladies shoki’d at their introduction, and progressed to twerking before settling down to discuss the honour that has been bestowed upon them.
