Noisy Streetss, a dynamic publishing house and media company, has announced the formal launch of its Literary Advisory arm, marking a significant expansion of the company’s mandate beyond publishing into the broader ecosystem that sustains literary life. Officially launched on April 29, 2026, the new division offers bespoke strategic, editorial, design, and book distribution services to authors, traditional and independent publishers, literary estates, and cultural organisations.
Founded with a commitment to the breadth and vitality of African stories, Noisy Streetss is positioning the advisory arm as a response to the growing structural challenges facing writers and publishers navigating an increasingly complex literary industry. As readership habits, digital platforms, distribution systems, retail placement, rights infrastructure, and cultural positioning continue to evolve, access to sophisticated advisory support has remained limited for many independent literary voices.
Noisy Streetss Advisory is built on the premise that independent writers and publishers deserve the same level of strategic thinking that has historically been available only to major publishing houses. The division offers services spanning writer and publisher strategy, retail pricing advisory, marketing strategy, reader mapping, book distribution and inventory management, design services, literary event programming, financial planning, and industry intelligence reporting.
Speaking on the launch, Modupe Daramola, Founder and Lead Strategist at Noisy Streetss, described the advisory arm as a necessary intervention within the African literary market.
“African markets produce abundant stories but lack consistent distribution infrastructure, appropriate strategy, transparent retail data, and affordable cross-border logistics. These constraints prevent many books from reaching scale and limit authors’ commercial prospects. Noisy Streetss closes that gap by integrating market advisory, distribution strategy, and operational execution into a single workflow. We focus on removing structural and strategic friction, so titles convert cultural value into measurable revenue.”
The launch comes at a time when global publishing continues to consolidate around a small number of major players, while independent publishers and self-published writers face mounting challenges around discoverability, logistics, and market access. Against this backdrop, Noisy Streetss positions the advisory arm not simply as a commercial service, but as a broader effort to strengthen institutional capacity within the literary sector.
Noisy Streetss has opened a cohort of advisory engagements, with priority access extended to authors currently in development and independent publishers with active lists. Inquiries and expressions of interest may be directed to contact@noisystreetss.com.
