Nova Paces Release Of ‘S.T.A.Y’ Follow Up With Doozybeatz Produced ‘Replay’

Just over a year after the release of his seminal third project titled S.T.A.Y (Still Think About You), which garnered thousands of streams coupled with the recognition of notable media houses include TRACE TV, Toronto-based Nigerian and Ghanaian artist Nova, wants to run it back with the surprise announcement of S.T.A.Y’s sequel, aptly titled S.T.A.Y II slated for a late November release. The announcement comes with a new track from titled Replay, which serves as the lead single from the forthcoming project.

Produced by Doozybeatz, famous for his collaboration with the likes of Santi (Cruel Santino) and Tay Iwar, Replay finds Nova switching from rapping to singing and back in a bid to perfectly represent the rollercoaster of emotions that inspires the song. Over the sweeping instrumentals, he laments about his struggles with a failed relationship, while also holding onto the hope that the girl he sings about will come back to him.

Throughout Replay, we can feel Nova leaning into his vulnerability both sonically and lyrically, perhaps more than he has done on previous records, giving a taste of what to expect on S.T.A.Y II.
