Neck deep in the sweet center where western and African influences meet, a dimension that has played host to a myriad of new school songs, Vibes, Vol. 1. is a smooth project that mirrors its title to a T and leverages O.L.A’s divergent music journey.
Being his debut, the five-track project is indicative of novelty but O.L.A’s innate talent helps him and his listeners by extension sail through breathy lyricism and the sweet lull a combination of synthesized percussions and acoustics sets off save for the edge the dense bass on tracks including heavy inspires.
