A new force is redefining Nigeria’s nightlife, and at its core is Jägermeister’s Feierstarter campaign, an initiative celebrating young Nigerians who energize and connect their communities after dark.
Designed to empower the next generation of cultural trailblazers, the Feierstarter platform supports young creatives who are shaping nightlife experiences across the country. These collaborators, dubbed Feierstarters, are known for transforming ordinary gatherings into immersive events that fuse music, art, and community spirit.
The campaign debuted in Lagos, led by the OJ Twins, the first Feierstarter collaborators. Renowned for their ability to turn casual hangouts into full-blown spectacles, they hosted Meisters of the Grill x Heat Wave Fest at Amore Gardens, a 12-hour explosion of food, fire, and music. Guests walked a red carpet that doubled as a photo runway before the show began: fire dancers, acrobats, and a high-energy DJ lineup kept the crowd moving from afternoon until dawn.
As night fell, live performances from Perliks, Yiizi & Tmzy, Gimba, and the Activboizz takeover turned the venue into a roaring dance floor, while hype men MC Sul, Ebuka, MC Strings, and Xavier kept spirits high. In true Lagos fashion, the night featured a playful twist, a suspended swing contest with a ₦100,000 prize, drawing cheers and laughter from the crowd.
Next, the movement travelled to Abuja, where Zumnann led Meisters After Dark at Monoliza Hall. The federal capital brought its own flavor: traditional drummers and cultural dancers infused the night with rhythm and heritage, while acrobatic acts electrified the stage. A powerhouse DJ lineup featuring Makaveli, Slimzy Ace, Dot, and DCon ensured that energy levels never dipped. If Lagos sparked the flame, Abuja turned it into a blaze, proving how diverse and vibrant Nigerian nightlife has become.
Together, the OJ Twins and Zumnann embody the essence of #JägermeisterFeierstarter: originality, collaboration, and cultural resonance. Their Lagos and Abuja editions not only marked major highlights in each city’s nightlife calendar but also set the tone for a growing national movement that celebrates bold ideas and youthful creativity.
With more collaborators and cities on the horizon, Jägermeister’s Feierstarter campaign is only just beginning. Built on the pillars of awareness, aspiration, and activation, it aims to keep fueling authentic connections and unforgettable nights across Nigeria.
