The most we’ve seen of Omawumi this year has been limited to a couple of visual releases and some promotions which largely encompassed the building of her brand. It almost as if the vocal powerhouse is gradually bowing out of the music scene or perhaps this is just an unusually musically scarce year for her.
Not one to leave a situation or setting without making an impression, the West African Idol Finalist who surpassed all our expectations with her doggedness and passion shares the video for her recently released collaborative effort with Falz titled Hold My Baby.
We have gleaned a lot from her usually expressive videos, especially those aiding love stories told by her and Hold My Baby is proof that she is indeed well versed in the art of showcasing narratives.
Along with Falz, she takes to the streets to visually depict her love themed plot and it’s as interesting as anyone will imagine a Falz and Omawumi collaboration will be.
