Her journey to fame began when she became the runner-up in the 2007 edition of the West African Idols competition, leading to her continued ascent in the Nigerian music industry, where she has left a lasting impression with her exceptional style and distinctive voice.
In her recent project, More, Omamuni taps into her trusted storytelling technique that’s worked so well for her in the past. The LP touches on many themes surrounding love, fear and spirituality. Speaking on the track, she says “Music is everything…it is a form of communication that speaks on every part of life that has ears, it is very spiritual, it can be a teacher, sometimes even in the abstract, there is a language.”
