A statement from the Ondo State Government, signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Aderotimi Adelola, said the former Speaker annoounced this.

The statement read, “The late Speaker, during his life time was a bridge builder, a man of integrity and a reliable team player who placed the interest of the state above personal consideration.

After that public appearance, the late Speaker had not been able to attend the House sittings as he was said to have sought medical attention abroad.
