Oxlade & Camila Cabello Move “KU LO SA” On New Remix

Following the viral success of his COLORS performance of KU LO SA, Nigerian Afrobeats artist Oxlade has teamed up with multi-platinum, and chart-topping singer/songwriter Camila Cabello on an official remix. They released the new version of KU LO SA today and Camila Cabello’s enchanting vocals naturally pair with Oxlade’s smooth flow furthering the track’s sensual and pop appeal. The remix comes ahead of a music video starring both artists set to be released next week.

Speaking on the collaboration, Oxlade said, “Camila was the only option I wanted on the remix because she is music and she also is a pure person, a pure soul, it was to me just a dream come true. KU LO SA is a special song to me personally, so it was something of a joy to see her resonate with the way I love the music itself and being excited as I am to put out the song. This made me feel extra special. She even called it “our” song.”

“I was so excited when Oxlade asked me to be on his remix for KU LO SA because I have been such a huge fan of him, his music, and Afrobeats,” Camila Cabello said. “Writing my part of the song was so easy and I knew this was going to be something special as soon as we started recording and working on the remix together,” she added.

Oxlade is part of the 20 faces you need to know from VEVO DSCVR Artists to Watch 2023, with a first performance for his 2020 hit single Away out now. Taken from his EP Oxygene, Away was the first song that brought him international attention—the track got shared by the likes of Drake and was named one of the “Top 50 songs of the year 2020” by Rolling Stone.

“Anyone who listens can connect to my lyrics, and in turn, it connects me with anyone who is listening. My music is for people who take what I’m saying personally because it truly is representative of day-to-day life,” Oxlade says.
