PDP Accuse Buhari Of Operating A Monocracy

President Buhari

The People’s Democratic Party have accused President Buhari of plotting to operate a monocracy hence his reluctance to appoint ministers to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

PDP stated that the President is increasingly moving our nation from a democracy to an autocracy and attempting to impose a sole administration in all spheres of the polity. The opposition party made this charge through its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, on Monday in Abuja, also took a jab at the All Progressives Congress-led administration, skipping an important event on Boko Haram at the just concluded summit of the United Nations, accusing it of large insensitivity on the plight of the long suffering victims of insurgency in the country.

According to the PDP, the President’s reluctance to appoint ministers could be seen from his recent outburst, where he described ministers as ‘noise makers’.

This Day will be providing more information on the accusation shortly.
