Last month, singer and songwriter Peruzzi released his boisterous single Hypertension, and only a few weeks later he has premiered the visuals to the record. The official music video for Hypertension which came out on the 12th of August was released on Peruzzi’s YouTube channel on the 12th of this month. Hypertension is a pop-amapiano-infused track produced by Dante and Stubborn.

With the new Hypertension visuals, Peruzzi takes us back to the 1960s when afro hairstyle, suspender belts, Panama hats, and vintage automobiles were the order of the day in their fashion and lifestyle. The old school-themed video has Peruzzi serenading his heartthrob while praising her enormous butts. Peruzzi donned Michael Jackson’s style of dressing and complimented it with some of the King of pop’s iconic dance moves.

The video was directed by Olu The Wave and boasts of striking and scintillating imagery and colours with scenes that were designed to capture the viewers and draw them into the world Peruzzi and Olu The Wave have created for the Hypertension record. The reception of Hypertension and its visuals have mostly been positive as fans across the country have commended Peruzzi’s work on the track and his performance on the video.
