Prettyboy D-O Korokoro

Following the release of It’s Different, WiPrettyboy D-O is back with a new single titled Korokoro. The new single comes just after the singer shared that he had been working on a short film with the same name.

Carefully crafted to impress its listeners, Korokoro is the second official single from Prettyboy D-O and it is  an offering filled with infectious lyrics, catchy instrumentals, and hard hitting one liners that will leave listeners wanting more.

Prettyboy D-O describes Korokoro as a dishonest or unfair act to gain advantage over someone or in a situation. The entire tune is based on this concept; the concept that people are out to swindle you and you need to protect yourself. Ahead of the release of Korokoro, Prettyboy D-O posted a picture that showed one of his eyes has been damaged with the caption “They chop my eye. Na wetin motivate this chapter.”

With lines like “pray my pride never be a weakness. If I fall, let my ops never bear a witness,” and “all the fake love me I no like am, cause I wear shades no mean say I no sight am” Prettyboy D-O’s Korokoro is a record for the fighters at heart. The tune is not only an important call to action to protect yourself from people who may try to profit off you, it also acts as a new chapter for Prettyboy D-O: a chapter of war.

Prettyboy D-O, is a Nigerian recording artist with chaotic blend of Afrobeats, hip hop, alté, dancehall, and R&B. His debut mixtape Everything Pretty reached the number one spot on iTunes.
