Last year, PsychoYP and Azanti joined forces to release an EP, YP & Azanti, Vol. 1, which found them leveraging their individual strengths to deliver an eight-track project that is the best of both worlds, Rap and Emo R&B. In a bid to reinforce their presence as a formidable force, they return this month with the video for Focus, one of the better tracks on the project.
The video is a testament to the dynamic duo’s real powers: the ability to stir emotions wielding words as their preferred weapons. It’s a juxtaposition of respect for Hip hop video culture infused with trendy dictates.
The smoky and sensual video directed by Cindy Ihua balances out the edge they produce on the track.
