Rema Heralds Debut Album With Don Jazzy Produced ‘Bounce’

Rema’s journey to the top is reaching its peak this year with a debut album looming on the horizon. He prefaces the album’s release today with his first single of 2021, Bounce, a cacophonous interpretation of the bawdy feelings he has for his muse.

For the first time since signing to Mavin Records in 2019, Rema teams up with Don Jazzy for befitting instrumentals that do his captivating words justice. Don Jazzy, switches things up and delivers a sprightly, fast-paced production, unlike anything we’ve heard from him before.

Finding himself in the center of this multifaceted, diverse, and rich scene, Rema’s hybrid approach to music keeps his supporters coming back over and again. 2020 had some silver linings for the young prodigy, he became one of Apple Music’s Up Next artists, part of the FIFA 2021 soundtrack as well as catching the attention of Drake and Rihanna along the way. This year, it appears he’s moving in the same direction, opening it with a bass-heavy potential fan favorite, turntable, and playlist staple.
