UK producer, Riton has built a budding partnership with Kah-Lo that has resulted in tracks like Betta Ridim and Rinse and Repeat, which earned the duo a Grammy nomination under the Best Dance Category. Riton then earned honorary Nigerian status with his 2017 opener, Money which featured Mr Eazi, Kah-Lo and Davido and now follows up by making a trip to Lagos for the video of the track which finds an intersection between Electronic Music and Afrobeat.
In the video, we see Riton, Mr Eazi and Kah-Lo navigate the streets of Lagos with the general hustle and bustle in the background while Davido makes a remote appearance courtesy of a TV screen.
When speaking to FADER on the video, Riton explains his love for Lagos and the joy that came with visiting to record the video. He said “It was my first time in Lagos and I was super psyched to go there as I’ve been a fan of Afrobeat for so long. It’s a wild experience shooting on the streets of Lagos. We really wanted to capture as much of the life out there without it looking like an Instagram mood story. The video reflects the message of the track, that the best things in life are free.”
