ROK Studios’ new series ‘Wakapass’ is a star-studded affair

Since Husbands of Lagos, ROK Studios has not had a hit series, and now backed by a media powerhouse like CanalPlus, the company is flexing its financial muscles with a star-studded show Wakapass.

Wakapass tells the story of a struggling aspiring Nollywood actor and features Ireti Doyle, Jemima Osunde, Daniel Etim Effiong, Shawn Faqua, Bimbo Ademoye, Judith Audu and Nigerian-British actress Diana Yekinni.

Yekinni plays the lead actress, a young lady who quit her job to become Nollywood’s next sensation much to the distress of her family, particularly her mum, who thinks she can’t act to save her life. Her boyfriend is also not in support of her acting career which requires her to spend time with her male colleague to build chemistry for a role. Torn between her career and her loved ones, who will she choose?
