Ryan Ofei’s impressive year continues following the release of his March EP, Limitless Worship: Accra, and his feature on Maverick City Music’s Grammy Award-winning album, Kingdom Book One: Deluxe. Music, a group he joined in 2021 as a songwriter and performer, has led to several Grammy nominations and a Grammy win. He even received a co-sign from UK Rapper Stormzy as the BRIT Award winner performed a cover of Ryan’s song “Jehova” at the Montreaux Jazz Festival in 2022.
For the Canadian artist, the year keeps getting better and better with the release of his forthcoming EP, CELEBRATE, coming in August. On his newest single, the Afrobeats banger DAILY, Ryan Ofei taps Nigerian artist Limoblaze and UK songstress Becca Folkes for a lively collaboration highlighting their collective star power.
The uplifting track combines the energetic sounds of Afro-beats with soulful melodies and uplifting lyrics. The track was written and produced during a session in London, UK, with producers Gaetan Judd and social media sensation Happi.
Ryan’s powerful voice is brought to the forefront of this Afrobeats anthem, complimented by Limoblaze’s dynamic flow and insightful lyrics. Becca Folkes, the soulful vocalist, adds a touch of elegance and grace to the song with her beautiful harmonies and ad-libs.
