Sasha P found fame in Nigeria’s mainstream in the early Noughties on the back of Storm Records- the house that Obi Asika built. Her status as one of the female forebears of the industry is not in doubt. As a means of enhancing that legacy, she’s announced the launch of a music academy called The Hard Knock Series, an initiative primarily for aspiring and upcoming artists. In the years following her music success, she has stood on the fringes rendering A&R services to labels and independent artists. The Hard Knock Series takes prides in its mission to educate and empower artists.
The academy is a professional guide consisting of curated courses, workshops and resources aimed at equipping artists for the toils of the music business.
The start up course takes place on April 27 titled “The Jumpstart Your Music Career” which comes with certification upon completion.
