Sevyn Streeter Recruits Davido On Emotion-Abundant ‘Kissez’

Contrary to popular opinion that suggests Afro-pop is a constrained genre, Davido has time and again, refuted this unfounded theory by way of mesmeric contributions and fusions with pure RnB songs. His collaboration with Tinashe was an average introduction to this but last year, he exhibited evolution on the acclaimed D&G, which features Summer Walker. It’s been more than a year since the collaboration and while different musicians have contributed their quota to killing this claim by way of international collaborations, Davido returns this month with Sevyn Streeter on her album precursor, Kissez, to prove yet again that Afro-pop is transcendent.
