Seyi Shay is back and this time she teams up with Runtown on new single, Gimme Love. After a few features this year on the projects of rising stars Da Beatzfreakz, Funbi and Ladipoe, it’s quite nice to finally have a project from the eclectic songstress since her “hiatus” from music. Earlier in the year, we saw a new and different side of Seyi as she took on the role of Lara in the star studded movie, Lara and the Beat, which was produced by Biola Alabi thereby adding yet another facet of the arts to her resume.

The Sarz produced song takes us on a soulful journey led by the two stars who are on a quest to secure a reciprocation of love and affection from their love interest. In usual Seyi Shay fashion , the track is laced with gentle and sensual inflections from the singer which gives listeners a bit of calm splendor. In the coming year, we hope to see Seyi Shay being a consistent player in the music industry with more singles and maybe even an album.
